New Addition – Chicago Suburban Newborn Photographer

Please welcome the newest addition to one of our favorite families! He looks just like his two adorable siblings and we are so excited and honored to continue watching this family grow together!

Twice the Joy – Chicagoland Newborn Photographer

What’s better than one beautiful newborn? You guessed it… TWO! Not only were these two angels a delight to work with, but most twins are. Twins have such a beautiful bond and often calm each other during the session. It’s when you try to separate them that they get fussy!

Take a moment to swoon over these adorable newborns to brighten your day!

Tween Time – Chicago Photographer

For anyone with children in the tween age group, you know how interesting and complex they can be. It’s an age where navigating through school, social nuances, and physical changes can be daunting. At the same time, they’re finding a better sense of self, learning to advocate for what they believe in, and showing great passion for their interests and activities. We think this age is often overlooked in portraiture, and it’s really something that shouldn’t be missed.

This is why we’re SO EXCITED to announce that we have created 4 very special collections for your tween(s)! We have bundled some of our most sought-after product options into popular collections designed to please both you and your child. These packaged pieces offer tremendous savings over standard a la carte items.

It’s a great self-esteem booster at an age when having self-esteem can feel trying. It is also a fantastic opportunity for your tween to show off their passion. Whether it’s a sport, activity, art, music, etc…, it gives your tween the chance to show pride in their interests and increase their self-worth.

These packages make great gifts for Mitzvahs or birthdays, too!

To celebrate the launch of the tween collections we are offering a limited time reduced rate of $50 off your session fee! This offer expires May 2, 2014 and the session must be scheduled to take place by June 30th, 2014.

Please contact us for full pricing information and/or any questions you may have.

A Different Kind of Baby – Chicago Photographer

Meet Sydney, the sweetest pup you may ever have the pleasure of meeting! Sydney was brought to us by her foster mom for some professional portraits to really show off her beautiful features (look at those eyes!). Sydney is looking for her “fur-ever” home and we are doing all we can to help this sweet girl find the family she so desperately deserves.

Sydney is a lab mix. There has been a great deal of speculation as to what she has been mixed with but that’s what makes her so unique! She’s one year old and was found out in the cold in Missouri without a family to speak of. She has had one litter of pups and is now spayed. She’s been staying with her foster mom since January but would really thrive in a family of her own. Please see the ad that describes Sydney so well. She is currently available for adoption through Placing Paws in Libertyville, IL.

I had the privilege of having a sleep-over night with Sydney in my home. She is gentle, kind and eager to please. She is great with other dogs, cats, and children. She is a cuddle bug! While her size is slightly smaller than the average lab, she still thinks she’s a lap dog and it is so endearing! She is shy at first but warms up very quickly. Before I knew it she was my little shadow! My entire family enjoyed having her around.

She’s been working on training with her foster mom. She is housebroken, crate trained, and knows a few basic commands such as sit and paw. She’s very good at taking direction and I believe could be trained to do just about anything. She’s extremely intelligent and just wants to do whatever it takes to make you happy! If you are considering bringing a dog into your home, I urge you to meet Sydney. It is hard to come by a dog that is so well trained, well mannered, loving, athletic, AND can get along with just about any living being! If you are interested, or know somebody who may be, click here for the adoption application.

Do you know a great dog that is in need of a “fur-ever” home? We love helping great animals find families. Contact us today to see what we can do to help!

Who’s That Girl?

I may have had the honor of meeting and/or working with you so far, but for most AG Gallery clients, I have not. Many may be wondering who is that girl? Allow me to introduce myself – my name is Stacy and I have been working with Gina for about six months. My official title is Studio Manager, but you will see me wearing many hats, including but not limited to assisting with consultations, sessions, and ordering appointments. Basically, whatever helps Gina:)

Our Social Media sites are generally managed by me, so I have been able to communicate with many clients in that way so far. I am learning so much from Gina and my goal is to get behind the camera myself one day so we can take on even more clients!

A Little About Me

I am 35 years young (yes, I said it!) and married to a great husband and father. I have 2 step-children although I generally will refer to them as my kids… my 10 year old boy tells me he thinks “stepmom” sounds like it describes someone mean and I’m too “nice and pretty for that”. So sweet, he is! My second is a 16 year old girl who loves Tae Kwon Do and everything teenaged!

Professionally, I come from another behind-the-scenes industry – I was (and still am) a licensed Cosmetology Instructor. I worked many years behind the chair doing hair, nails, and skin care. Eventually I worked for my instructor’s license and began teaching up-and-coming Cosmetologists. I left the industry for personal reasons but still enjoying performing these services on occasion. I am happy to bring my expertise here to AG Gallery, to help make sure you look your best during your session!

What Does She Know About Newborns and Children?

I absolutely LOVE children and have spent my life working with and caring for children in all sorts of ways. I have a large, extensive family and have had the pleasure of caring for dozens of cousins from newborns to teenagers. As I mentioned before, I am also a mom. Most importantly, I take safety as my #1 priority with all children. Although I came to AG Gallery with plenty of hands-on experience with children and newborns, Gina has trained me in the safety of posing, so you can be fully reassured that if I’m assisting with your newborn’s session, your baby is in safe and loving hands!

Thank You

Thank you for taking the time to learn a bit about me! I look forward to being with Gina and AG Gallery for a long time to come. I’m excited to meet and work with all current and future clients and having the honor of watching your little ones grow. Please feel free to send me an email to introduce yourself and/or ask me any questions about myself, or about AG Gallery!
